Every child deserves to feel the magic of Christmas. At Santa’s Love in the Slum Initiative (SLISI), we bring joy, hope, and dignity to underprivileged children in Lagos slums by giving them gifts, meals, and unforgettable festive experiences.

About Us

Santa’s Love in the Slum Initiative

Santa’s Love in the Slum Initiative began in 2020 with a playful dare. Our founder put on a Santa costume, never imagining it would spark a movement. Children rushed with laughter, parents offered prayers, and one mother pleaded for Santa to visit her children.

With no gifts at hand, the founder and his wife quickly bought sweets and biscuits to share. That day, a seed was planted. What began as a joke became a yearly promise: no child should be left out of Christmas joy.

Santa’s Sack Gift Drive

We collect brand-new toys, books, food, and clothing, packaging them as personal gifts. Every child deserves to unwrap something special on Christmas.

Feast of Hope Party

We host Christmas parties inside slum communities with food, music, clowns, games, face-painting, and Santa himself. Beyond gifts, children experience laughter, fun, and togetherness.

Gift of Learning Corner

At every party, we provide school supplies and storytelling sessions. Education is hope, and we use the season to reinforce it.

Community Support Packs

For vulnerable families, we deliver essential food staples and toiletries so Christmas joy continues at home.

OUR PROGRAM

In 2024, SLISI reached 2,500+ children with gifts, meals, and love. Our 2025 goal is 5,000. Join us in making it happen.

What we achieved

From serving 150 children in Mushin

SLISI has grown to reach over 5,000 children across Lagos slums every year. In 2023, we became a registered nonprofit, building stronger partnerships and creating unforgettable experiences of joy.
